My computer crashed and I had no idea how to sort it out. My husband found James and JEM IT solutions online and I called. James was helpful and knowledgeable and came to my home later that day to take a look at my computer. It wasn’t an easy fix so he took it away to work on it – and managed to get it back to me the evening of the following day! To say that I was delighted with his service is an understatement. He explained in jargon-free terms what had happened and what he’d done to fix the problem. “When working from home as a freelance journalist it was always important to me, and to meeting press deadlines which wait for no man, to have a working computer with email and broadband. It was with great relief not to say joy that I discovered JEM-IT in the Essex Chronicle small ads. Not only was James the only one offering computer services who answered my call but he has proved over the years to be a totally honest, trustworthy and reliable colleague who kept me in business. Now retired I still use my computer a lot but don't have the knowledge of its inner workings and I need my email and broadband to remain in touch with requests to share my lived-experience of disability at university and other levels.
